Review: Bernstein Bears Series by Zonderkidz

With summer around the corner, books will be a part of what entertains a child the weeks they are home from school. We usually stock up a lot of books from the library and often visit our local Christian store to look for new books and kids bibles to read. Every time we visit, the one book we have always bought is a book from the Bernstein Bears Series by Zonderkidz.

They are filled with colorful pictures, Christ centered family values and often have stories that relate to situations kids face in everyday life . Like the one we read recently is Bernstein Bears School time blessings and since my 5 year old starts kindergarden next year, it was a perfect read. We have read many series over the years that have taught him some great foundational character lessons like caring for others and reflecting Christ’s love and also lessons on good money management, watching too much tv and so on. Even kids as young as 3 year olds have fun to read and they learn a lot in the process. The books are available as individual series and also sometimes have many books or stories in one hard bound book like the ‘Bernstein Bears Caring and Sharing Treasury‘ that has 5 stories in it. Now that my son is learning to read on his own, the books are easy for beginners like him to read and enjoy.

They also have new series that come out often so we have interesting topics to read and explore. The Bernstein Bears books by Zonderkidz can be found at your local Christian store and are very inexpensive and a great gifts to give too. You can also find them online on Zondervan. Read one of them to your child today or let them read a book and they will ask you for it every time.
